The Real Emergency Access for Aging and Disability Inclusion for Disasters Act (REAADI) and the Disaster Relief Medicaid Act (DRMA) are going to be introduced in the House and Senate on June 10, 2019. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) is introducing both bills in the Senate while Congressman Langevin (D-RI) will introduce REAADI and Congresswoman Shalala (D-FL) will introduce DRMA in the House.
Attached to this email are bill fact-sheets to provide your organization an overview of both bills.
The Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies asks for your help and support to get these new bills passed in this 116th Congress Year.
To this end, you can take one of two options:
- send an email to email@example.com identifying if your organization supports both REAADI and DRMA or one of them. Please include your name, title, and organization name;
- use the attached templates to send your individual Organization Letters of Support for each piece of legislation to the Congresspeople introducing them.
